All the negative comments on imdb and rotten tomato are from comicbook fans, but the new viewers have nothing but praise. Is it possible you may have just ruined the show for yourself because of your expectations? Is it also possible that you suck as a person? If you can only answer one question, please answer the latter.

He stole the gun from Daryl and planned on playing with it. Him throwing rocks at a zombie is what killed Dale. I was sorta confuzzled by him suddenly giving up his firearm.

That deer comment needs to be acknowledged for how awesome it is. ^_^

So glad they *finally* got around to shooting Shane. And to revealing to everyone that *anyone* that dies turns into a zombie. About Carl…To me, shooting Shane is the one redeeming thing that Carl has done so far. I’m glad he’s finally useful instead of just derping around camp and trying to find new and inventive ways to get himself and everyone else killed. But, even when shooting Shane-turned-Walker Texas Ranger, he doesn’t say, “Oh hey, dad, you’s is gots some livin’ dead on your 6. Move, gypsy!”

At least they gave Carl that, “I don’t want to ever hold a gun again” wake-up call. Still, I wouldn’t be offended if they offered to go let him go pet another deer.
